Surreal Photomontage:
Combining photos together

1. What is Surreal?
•Element of surprise, unexpected juxtapositions.
•Began around 1920’s
•Dream like
•Salvador Dali, Painter

2. The Project Requirements & Overview:

1. The work should combine 2 to 5 images into a single image.

2. Should access the surreal, things that can only happen in a subconscious reality. You could combine nature or people with man-made objects.

3. How can you show us the magic of photography to transform reality into dream? Create something that appears real, but yet surely cannot be...

3. Techniques: -See video tutorials in right column
-Overlay using blend mode in layers.
     -Blending and cutting out images
     -Levitation
     -Color selection
