Overview:

Create a website using wix.com, a free website builder.  The website is to feature your written and photography work in this class. You may also add any additional photos that you wish to feature as well.  You will be adding to this site with each assignment you complete.

Beginning Project Steps:

1. Choose a template from www.wix.com

-Make sure the template will be suitable for photography. There is a Photography category!!

-You will need to create pages on your website.

2. Create Page 1: Home

-Include your name (I wouldn't advertise your last name just your first)

*DO NOT include phone number or address

3. Create Page 2 and name it "Projects"

-See list below. Only include projects completed thus far.

-Create an image gallery and add each project image to your gallery.

*Remember 72 resolution is an ideal web resolution.

4. Create Page 3 and name it "WarmUps"
-See list below. Only include Warm-ups completed thus far.

5. Page 4 - Create or KEEP a "BLOG"  page (You may already have one in template site)

-We will use this for Critique and Reflection of your projects.

6. Create Page 5 and name it "Presentations"

-Add your 6 word Memoir Presentation

   -Add a photo gallery

-You will have to export your slideshow as Jpgs then upload to Wix as pictures.

       * In google presentations:  File > download as > jpgs image

       * In powerpoint: File > save as pictures (make sure format is set at "jpgs")
